Weekend at Chikmagalur

Chikmagalur, or Chikkamagaluru as it is locally called, is a picturesque town located at a distance of 200 km from Bangalore. The town is popular for a variety of reasons. Staying amidst the thick coffee plantations is one of the popular things that most visitors crave for! While the town itself is very scenic, the locations in and around the town make it even more attractive. The small hill-station of Kemmangundi has some amazing places and waterfalls to explore. Mullayangiri, which is the highest peak in Karnataka is located very close to this town. Chikmagalur is also home to numerous beautiful lakes and amazing waterfalls. While a weekend is a short time to explore this awesome destination, ‘Plan That Travel’ will cover a subset of these locations, but we ensure you will have enough fun visiting these places!
